East of England Youth Dance Platform 2008
Ten youth dance groups from across the East of England came together on Saturday 16th February to take part in dance workshops and perform the pieces they hoped to take to the National Youth Dance Festival in July.
The performance took place at the University of Bedfordshire and over 160 people travelled from as far as Great Yarmouth to see the show!
All ten groups performed well, showing great professionalism, talent and creativity, however only 3 groups could be chosen and these groups are:
JNR Sinstars from Cambridge
Full Tilt from Norfolk
Bedfordshire Youth Dance Company
The panel made up of both dance/performing arts professionals and young people spent a long time making their decision and were impressed by the standard and diversity of the work.

Finca films is a not for profit video production company in East Anglia, based near Cambridge. We have wide experience of video production, editing and DVD authoring.
In addition to our work with individuals, Finca Films has worked with a number of community based projects. These include, for example, projects with schools for children with special needs as well as dance, ballet and theatre companies.
However, our experience of both video and photography is broad. We normally shoot with two (sometimes three) cameras and we pay particular attention to video editing and the authoring and presentation of our DVDs and CDs.
